Come out and experience our Interactive Artwork by Cologne based artist Ruslan Daskalov at the November 14 Reception of the Indy Sister Cities Art Exhibit at the Artsgarden downtown coordinated by the Office of the mayor Joe Hogsett, Indianapolis Mayor’s Office of International and Latino Affairs. We’d like to thank Deputy Mayor Judith Thomas, Director Ruth Morales, and Mayor’s Office Intern Angel Akinleye for their hard work putting this together.

We are excited to announce the start a new civil partnership project with a 57,000 euro grant generously supported from the Deutsche Volkshochschul Verband (VHS) and German Foreign Office due to the efforts of Homaira Mansury, head of the Sociopolitical department at Volkshochschule Köln. Our 2022-2023 project KO:IN Pride aims to bridge the LGBTQ+ communities in Indianapolis and Cologne through multiple funded projects throughout the year in both cities.
The 31st annual Heartland International Film Festival has selected the 2021 German dramedy “Sweet Disaster” for inclusion in this year’s prestigious lineup. Directed by Laura Lehmus, starring Friederike Kempter, Lena Urzendowsky, Florian Lukas and more!
The Indiana premiere of “Sweet Disaster” will be held at the KanKan Theater on Tuesday, October 11, at 5:15 pm
