The Great Indy-Cologne Mask Exchange, pt. 1

The gestures of Indianapolis-Cologne Sister City solidarity continue!
Last week, members of the Indianapolis-Cologne Sister City Partnership Committee came together outside the Columbia Club on Indianapolis’ signature public space, Monument Circle. You can see they are sporting the COVID-19 masks from Cologne, Germany.

The Soldiers And Sailors Monument is now rigged with strings of lights which are ceremonially illuminated every year on the day after thanksgiving.
We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!

Sonja & Sean’s Visit to Cologne pt. 1

Indianapolis-Cologne Sister City president Sonja Simpson and her daughter Sean visited Cologne from Friday, October 3 through Sunday, October 5, 2019.

A scrumptious lunch at gastropub Max Stark , Cologne, was enjoyed by all, courtesy of Cologne-Indianapolis Sister City president Hartwig Pruessmann and Ralf Radke. Freshly tapped Päffgen Kölsch was served with our meals! Delicious! To learn more about this particular Kölsch, click here.
